On Sunday, June 23rd we packed up the rv and headed south in search of warm weather to Cape Henlopen State Park on the Delaware seashore.  It was an interesting park, containing an old Fort Miles gun embankments along the coast.  I did not realize how close to our country the WWII had come!  We camped in two sites as the park is very popular during "high season".  On the first night, we were in F4 next to a young couple with a toddler.  At some point in the early evening the young father came over and asked me if I had any tools.  Elaine rolled her eyes and I got to work helping fix a propane lantern. Yes I carry tools!  Elaine insisted that I show some of them to you. The next morning we were sitting under the awning reading when a bird decided to relive itself on top of my head and unfortunately for me I was not entirely under the awning and did not have a baseball cap on.  Much clean up ensued.  That was a precursor to the day.   We had to change sites as the

I got everyone to pose for a selfie the next morning before they left for Washington DC Saturday, June 22: The next day Elaine and I attended a memorial service at the Unitarian Universalist church in Kingston for my sister Jane who passed in February. It was a nice ceremony where we heard many testimonials about Jane from all her friends. Here are a few photos of Jane. The one with the baby is when Jane came out to Arizona to help take care of Matt after he was born. Saturday night Elaine and I went out to dinner in Rhinebeck with my brother Michael and his wife Chrissy.    We ate at the Terrapin restaurant which was converted from a church. We had a great time catc
