July 19th: Richland Center, Wisconsin, then Taliesin Preservation in Spring Green, Wisconsin
We left Winnebago in Forest City and headed east for Wisconsin and a campsite in Woodman. It was a small campground between two roads and we were the only occupants. But it was fine. The next morning we headed for Richland Center to visit the homestead of our neighbors in Worcester. After a very nice visit there we went a short distance to Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin in Spring Green. There we took the Taliesin house tour and got a good exposure to his unique architecture. From Spring Green we headed a short distance east and camped south of Madison, Wi. at Thousand Trails in Milton. Crossing the Mississippi Prairie Du Chien and Elaine got a good picture of the river and a riverboat So when we arrived at Woodman the population swelled to 134...
