We headed north on I-75 from Estero and Koreshan State Park on Saturday morning July 13th. We had communicated with friends in Ocala, Mike and Diane Nagy and made plans to meet them for a mid afternoon brunch at Chili's on Ocala. We had a nice time catching up on events of the year from both families. From Ocala we continued north and landed in Valdosta, Ga at River Park RV.
On Sunday we continued north and made it to Holiday Travel Park, Chattanooga, TN. It was the best rv park we have stayed at, level spots, quiet, and a great pool which we enjoyed late in the day.
Monday we toured the Chickamauga Battlefield visitor center and reminded ourselves of the terrible cost of war and national division. From there we continued north on I-75 and landed just south of Cincinnati at Northern Kentucky RV Park, Dry Creek, Ky. Making good progress driving as we aim for rv factory tours in Ohio, Indiana, and Iowa.
